I am interested in the intersection of business and the environment. My research examines how environmental strategies make firms more competitive and how businesses can drive the decoupling of economic growth from environmental impacts, including by leading society’s circular economy transition. Specifically, I study the development and strategic, economic, and environmental benefits of inter-firm reuse of industrial by-products (industrial symbiosis).
