Michael Freiburger graduated with a degree in Forestry from YSE in 2023 focusing on sustainable forest land management and the intersection between urban and rural forests. Prior to his enrollment at Yale, he completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Letters and Environmental Studies at Wesleyan University, broadening his understanding of interdisciplinary approaches to environmental issues. Before his undergraduate studies, he served in the US Army, where he developed invaluable qualities such as discipline, resilience, and leadership.
