    Fellowships

    Many YSE alumni and students have pursued and secured these annual fellowship opportunities for both full time post graduation opportunities and summer work.

    • Presidential Management Fellowship

      The Presidential Management Fellowship (PMF) provides opportunities through a two-year appointment to gain insight into how areas of federal government operate.
    • Knauss Fellowship

      This one-year paid fellowship is aimed at graduate students interested in ocean, coastal, and Great Lakes resources and national policy. It matches students with hosts in the legislative and executive branch of government in the Washington  D.C. area.
    • Gruber Fellowship

      A Yale University program administered by Yale Law School, the Gruber Fellowship helps foster international understanding and dialogue in the fields of global justice and women’s rights, providing the opportunity for Yale graduates to spend a year working abroad on these issues.
    • Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps Fellowship

      Open to graduates and current students, EDF Climate Corps is a unique summer fellowship program in which EDF trains and matches top-tier graduate students with host companies and organizations to advance environmental goals.
    • Fulbright Fellowship for U.S. Graduates

      Awarded by the Institute of International Education, the Fulbright Fellowship supports graduate study and research in over 140 countries with 1,000 grants.
    • AAAS Fellowships (for PhDs)

      The fellowship program, awarded each year by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), aim to support evidence-based policy making through science. The program recognizes pioneering research, leadership within a given field, teaching and mentoring, and efforts to foster collaborations.
    • The World Bank Group Young Professionals Program

      The WBG YPP is a two-year leadership development program at the start of a five-year employment contract with the World Bank, International Finance Corporation, or Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency. Young Professionals start the program in Washington, D.C., where they engage in intensive training, both on the job and in the classroom, to learn the fundamentals of leadership and development operations across institutions, and how to identify opportunities for joint impact.
