Human Resources

The YSE Human Resources (HR) Office provides support to staff, faculty and students in the areas of:
  • Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding the most qualified new employees
  • Compensation, benefits and payroll
  • Employee relations and performance management
  • Training and development opportunities
  • Employee wellness and health
The YSE HR Office coordinates closely with central Yale HR departments, and is committed to providing efficient and responsive HR services to the YSE community.  We should be your first point of contact, and will direct you to central Yale HR when appropriate. Please see below for more guidance about resources for HR information.

Workday, available through a link on the Yale Portal, is Yale’s comprehensive web-based HR and payroll enterprise system.  Staff and faculty can use Workday to view and modify their benefits; to edit their profile information (including changes in their dependents, address, emergency contact, and marital status); to alter their tax withholdings; to set up or revise direct deposit; and to view their pay slips and print W-2 forms.

Contact us via email at hr.yse@yale.edu to ensure a quick response to your inquiry. The main YSE HR Office is located on the third floor of Sage Hall, Room 31.
