YSE Fleet Vehicles
The School of Forestry has a fleet of vehicles that can be reserved for official Yale business for a fraction of what it costs to rent a vehicle at any of the outside car rental companies. YSE has 3 8 person capacity hybrid vans (1 driver + 7 passengers ), one 10 capacity Van (1 driver + 9 passengers) and one 5 capacity SUV (1 driver + 4 passengers). Reservations are first come first served; however preference is granted to YSE faculty, staff, and students.
Drivers must have an acceptable motor vehicle record over the past two years, meaning: a) a maximum of one infraction, b) no infractions for anything more serious than a speeding ticket or a failure to obey traffic controls, c) no at-fault accidents.

License Requirements
All drivers must have a valid driver’s license appropriate to the class of vehicle being driven. The use of University Fleet Vehicles by persons with driver’s licenses issued in countries other than the United States or Canada is prohibited.8 Passenger Hybrid Van (3)

Three 8 passenger Toyota Sienna hybrid vans are available to any Yale affiliated Faculty, Staff and Students.These vans will be reservable in the coming days (late March, 2024).
