Ruihua Liu is a quantitative ecohydrologist. She holds a B.S. in Forestry from Beijing Forestry University, a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Chinese Academy of Sciences and two visits in biometrics at Yale University with Timothy Gregoire and National Taiwan University with Ke-Sheng Cheng.
Her interest is applying R, C++, C & Python computing methods on environmental issues. Communicating scientific information by storytelling with clarity, precision and efficiency. Her current research is on individual based simulation model about responses to and recovery from disturbances ranging from small to large spatial scale.
