Research Overview

To date I have conducted research in three areas of ecology and environmental studies: aquatic ecosystem toxicology, biorefining, and dendroclimatology. Furthermore, I have participated in projects aimed at assessing nutrient movement through aquatic systems, and those aimed at determining the habitat selection and foraging dynamics of small mammals. Moving forward, I aspire to use my background in ecology and mathematics to examine how species level interactions—which can be readily measured—may impact ecosystem wide processes.
