Michaela Foster Laepple is a PhD Candidate at Yale University in the School of the Environment. Her research interests are in environmental policy analysis, forest governance, and the effectiveness of forest conservation policies. In her dissertation, she examines the impact of protected areas on reducing deforestation.
Michaela has served as a Teaching Fellow in the School of the Environment (Global Environmental Governance, Politics and Practice of Environmental and Resource Policy) and Political Science Department (Political Economy of Gender Inequality).
