About

I am interested in the intersection of business and the environment. My research examines how environmental strategies make firms more competitive and how businesses can drive the decoupling of economic growth from environmental impacts, including by leading society’s transition to a circular economy. Specifically, I study the environmental, economic, and strategic benefits of inter-firm reuse of industrial by-products (industrial symbiosis). I am also interested in organizational questions such as how belonging to an industrial symbiosis network affects the behavior of firms.
