Video Snapshots: Doctoral Research at F&ES

Note: Yale School of the Environment (YSE) was formerly known as the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies (F&ES). News articles and events posted prior to July 1, 2020 refer to the School's name at that time.

Students pursuing their doctoral degrees at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies are engaged in cutting edge — and in many cases policy relevant — research in all corners of the world. From agroforestry trends to urban planning, students currently enrolled in the Doctoral Studies Program explore a range of questions that span disciplinary boundaries and reflect the complex environmental challenges facing our planet.

And each student has a unique story to tell.

In this series of videos, we asked Ph.D. candidates to describe their research in just 90 seconds. These vignettes offer just a small window into the exciting research being done by our students.
