David Keiser

Professor of Water Policy and Management

Dr. Keiser will join the Yale School of the Environment in July 2026 as a Professor of Water Policy and Management. He currently serves as a Features Editor at the Review of Environmental Economics and Policy and as a member of the Editorial Board of Land Economics. He is a Research Associate with the National Bureau of Economic Research and previously served as a member of the U.S. EPA Science Advisory Board. His research focuses on the economics of water resources. His work examines US federal statutes that govern surface and drinking water quality, measures the social costs of water pollution through Integrated Assessment Modeling, and tackles water resource challenges in other countries, including Brazil and India. 

Dr. Keiser will join the faculty on July 1, 2026.
