Course Description

This course investigates the intersecting drivers and forms of human mobility and immobility in a warming world. We examine how individuals navigate  decisions to move or stay and how cities and national institutions plan for these demographic shifts. The seminar explores the intersection of migration, urban resilience, and national security, providing the governance tools necessary to manage climate-driven movement across scales.
