The annual in-person commencement activities and ceremonies for the Yale School of the Environment scheduled for May 18 have been canceled due to the ongoing concerns and public safety restrictions associated with COVID-19. The School, however, will host a virtual celebration for the Class of 2020.
All students, staff, faculty, alumni, friends, and family are welcome to join the one-hour celebration via YouTube (livestream is also embedded on this page, above) beginning at 4 p.m. on Monday, May 18.
Here’s the agenda:
Also, please visit the Yale Class of 2020 website. The university site will serve as center stage for a series of videos, photographs, music, and other content honoring the accomplishments of Yale’s Class of 2020. University programming culminates at 11 a.m. Monday, May 18 with remarks by President Peter Salovey and the formal conferral of degrees.
If you have questions or would like to share ideas about future celebrations for the Class of 2020, please contact the Office of Student Affairs.
