Admissions Dates

Tuition & Payments
The tuition for the 2025/2026 academic year is $6,000.
There is no application fee.
Tuition payment is due: September 8, 2025, 11:59 p.m. EDT
September 18, 2025, 11:59 p.m. EDT
Last day to withdraw from the program and receive a full refund.
September 25, 2025, 11:59 p.m. EDT
Last day to withdraw from the program and receive a partial refund.

Scholarships
Financial support is available and awarded on a competitive basis. The Three Cairns Climate Program for the Global South provides a limited number of full scholarships, and other funds are available for partial tuition support. You may apply for a scholarship during the program application process. Admission decisions are made independently of funding requests.
Application Process
The cohort is limited to 60 people. Applications will be reviewed and admissions offered on a rolling basis until the cohort is full or until July 31, 2025.
Applications for the October 2025 cohort opens July 1 and closes July 31, 2025. The committee seeks to balance the cohort across sectors and regions of the world. Decision letters regarding admission and scholarships will be emailed by August 11, 2025.

Technical Requirements
Learners must have a high proficiency in English in order to learn from the written and recorded presentations, complete written assignments and engage in thoughtful discussion with peers and instructors during live sessions. You will be asked to rate your English skills in the online application. Test scores are not required, but you will have the opportunity to share any test scores during the application process.
Participation in this program will require consistent access to:
- A computer, laptop, or tablet capable of playing audio and video
- Internet connection (recommended speed at least 600 kbps)
- A web camera and microphone to participate in online meetings
- Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel (or equivalent programs)
Equipment and software are the responsibility of the participant and will not be provided by Yale University.
