Office Assistant—CDO

Participation as a CDO Office Assistant is an outstanding way to develop leadership and administrative skills, gain useful experience for your resume, remain grounded in your own career development during your time at F&ES, and contribute to the graduate student experience overall.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Attend training sessions and occasional staff meetings.
  • Work either remotely or in CDO offices posting job opportunities in F&ESNext for 5-7 hours/week as agreed upon.
  • Report to CDO staff weekly on status of F&ESNext email account; alert CDO if there is an overwhelming backlog and/or a dearth of postings.
  • Assist CDO staff in the office on special projects and routine clerical tasks for 3 hours/week during regular weekly hours as agreed upon. Areas of responsibility may include but are not limited to event and program planning, marketing and communications, as well as data management and system operations testing.
  • Assist CDO at workshops, career panels and other events including job treks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and follow-through.
  • As this is a very independent position, we are seeking candidates with excellent time management skills.
  • Must be conscientious and willing to learn F&ESNext thoroughly, through CDO training session and independently.
  • Microsoft Office Suite and basic web design/updating experience preferred.
Hours:
10 per week

Compensation: 
$14.75/hour
