PCA (Peer Career Advisor) Emily Auerbach

Emily is a second-year MEM/MBA joint degree with the Yale School of Management interested in building mission-driven food brands. This past summer, Emily interned at Pepperidge Farm as an MBA Marketing Intern in the Distinctive Cookies division. Before coming to F&ES, she worked in sustainability and international development with over 100 chocolate and cocoa companies at the World Cocoa Foundation. Emily is excited to help fellow FESers position themselves for success in their internship and job searches as a Peer Career Advisor.

PMI (Peer Mock Interviewer) Peter Ludwig

Peter is a second year MESc interested in community conservation and social justice.  Before coming to F&ES, he spent 7 years in hazardous waste and environmental waste consulting in New York City and 10 years running energy efficiency programs in affordable housing for Elevate Energy in Chicago.  He is excited about leadership, team dynamics and organizational development.  Peter has a background in geology and environmental science and has done ecological and geological field work in Tanzania, New York City, the Rocky Mountains & Nova Scotia.  He is excited to get to know his fellow F&ES peers and hopes to be helpful in their next steps.

PCA (Peer Career Advisor) Chris Perkins

Chris is a first year MEM who has spent the last four years in Jackson, WY, splitting his time between program coordination at the SHIFT Festival and field instruction at the Teton Science Schools. He is a course leader at NOLS, where he specializes in leadership development and intimate connection in the outdoors over monthlong courses. Chris also provides logistical support to the Outdoor CEO Diversity Pledge, a first-of-its-kind partnership between inclusion advocates and CEOs of leading outdoor brands to advance diversity across the outdoor industry. He is looking forward to meeting fellow F&ESers and helping them update and perfect their job search written materials.

Peer Mock Interviewers (PMIs)

  • CDO offers supplemental mock interviews with peers while classes are in schedule, as announced.  Experienced peer interviewers will be available by appointment for half hour mock interviews all year when classes are in session.
    • Hours: Half hour sessions by appointment. 
    • E-mail Peter directly to arrange a time.
    • Professional dress for your field.
    • Interviews to be held in Kroon 102 unless otherwise notified.
