URI in the News

Announcement:

Register now for URI's Rock to Rock Earth Day Bike Ride team.   http://rocktorock.donordrive.com/team/uri

Join us for a beautiful spring bike ride from West Rock to East Rock on Saturday, April 20th.  Choose from one of three routes: 8 miles, 20 miles, or the metric century (100km = 62 miles).   Listen to great music, eat delicious food, and bond with URI team riders along the way.

Our team is raising funds to support our 2013 Community Greenspace program's 50 grassroots volunteer groups revitalizing their neighborhoods, fostering stewardship of public lands, and building community bonds to create safer, more beautiful, and shaded blocks in New Haven.  URI provides each group with an intern, trees, shrubs, perennials, compost, mulch, soil lead tests, and use of tools to accomplish its revitalization goals.  Support this program now in its 18th season by joining our Rock to Rock team and raising pledges for your ride to support URI.
