Yale Omega Supercomputer

Omega is a 704-node 5632-core cluster based on the Intel Nehalem nodes and equipped with 36GB of RAM per node, a QDR Infiniband interconnect, and a high-speed Lustre DDN file system for parallel I/O. We currently run the new generation NASA ModelE2 and NCAR CESM global climate models on this machine.
