Calestous Juma to be McCluskey Fellow in Spring 2008

Professor Juma is at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He will be the McCluskey Fellow in the Spring 2008 semester. He is an internationally recognized expert on sustainable development in Africa, international trade, international environmental policy, and biodiversity. He is a member of both the Royal Society (U.K.) and the National Academy of Sciences (U.S.). He is the former Executive Secretary of the Convention on Biological Diversity. Professor Juma is also the editor of the International Journal of Technology and Globalisation, and the International Journal of Biotechnology. The subject of his class in the spring 2008 semester is still under consideration.
