Information for Prospective Graduate Students

Masters Degree

I accept a number of students each year as advisees in the masters programs. Students in the Master of Forestry (MF) are admitted to the program in general rather than to a particular lab, and the degree is primarily coursework-driven, with an applied focus. Click here for a list of the courses I teach.

Students in the Master of Forest Science (MFS) program conduct independent research on a topic of their design and need to identify an advisor during the application process. If you are interested in doing an MFS with me, please send me (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)) your CV and a description of your research interests, and let's start a conversation. I strongly recommend you schedule a time to visit the school and meet with me.

Doctoral Degree

I always invite inquiries from prospective doctoral students. If you would like to apply, email me (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)) and please include your CV and a description of your research interests. I strongly recommend you schedule a time to visit the school and meet with me. Also check out the School's web page for information on the doctoral programs and application procedures and deadlines. If you have further questions about the application to the doctoral program, you can contact the doctoral program office.
