SAGE Magazine is a student-run environmental arts and journalism publication of the Yale University School of Forestry & Environmental Studies in New Haven, Connecticut. Through creative and informative journalism, Sage seeks to expand popular notions of environmentalism and widen the debate around pressing and important environmental issues.

We take a non-exclusive approach to journalism, publishing works by students, activists, young professionals and emerging artists. And by injecting humor, art and culture into environmental dialogues we hope to engage those beyond the traditional environmental movement. We are journalistic and creative, chatty but sincere, illuminating and entertaining, and will appeal to any curious minds concerned about our shared future.

We welcome all submissions of environmental art, including long journalistic pieces, poetry, prose, digital art, photography, cartoons, cardboard cut-outs, macaroni collages, and, on occasion, sky-writing.

SAGE Magazine does not receive annual funding from the F&ES Student Affairs Committee.
