Economic Considerations of Nature (ECON) (formerly On the Margin) provides a forum through which individuals with common interest in exploring economics & the environment can interact, learn from one another, and develop new ideas. The goal of ECON is to facilitate students’ experience of how the discipline of economics can inform social and environmental decision-making. We are a community that acknowledges economics as a field of study beyond equations and graphs. Our activities include events with outside speakers and organizations, in addition to a biweekly discussion group.
