The bargain basement apartment

Hello everyone,

I have been deliberating for some time whether to keep my cheap apartment. Here’s the deal:

I’m out-of-town until late August, and my subletters disappear on July 31st.  I can terminate the lease, but I don’t really have a way to get all of my furniture out of there on time.  If anyone is interested in renting a cheap apartment during Mods, I can hook you up.  It’ll be cozy, close to campus, and only $945 for two bedrooms with water, heat and electric all included, and at least partially furnished:  a place to crash if you, like me, have difficulties getting living arrangements together on time.
It is clean and neat with new fixtures, and the rental company is amazingly competent and responsive whenever there is any problem.  But it is, unfortunately, partially underground.  However, big windows that start at about shoulder height keep it reasonably sunny, and the rooms are large.

I’m still at a loss regarding whether or not to stay there for the next year.  If anyone ends up liking it, I can pass your names along to the management company.

E-mail me at

jacob (dot) iversen (at) yale (dot)edu soon.

and I’ll get back to you when I’m not at the beach. Heh.

If anyone is interested
