Hello. I am considering staying in my current apartment, provided I can find cool roommates: This second-floor apartment is at Linden/Foster, just a skip away from Romeo’s. It has a living room, kitchen, bathroom, three bedrooms, a small balcony, and a small shared backyard, as well as access to storage in the garage (of stuff not cars) and basement. The three roommates share one parking spot, otherwise there is street parking, with only the bimonthly menace of street sweeeping. It’s not one of those sprawling New Haven places, but it’s well-kept and well-insulated. That combined with the fact that electric and heat are included in the rent of $1600 for 3 people makes it a pretty good deal, even if disincentivizing conservation. I am finishing up my final semester in the joint MPH-MESc program, so will be busy with thesis-writing and my other big endeavor, bicycle racing and training for it. I value being able to go to bed early and wake up early, don’t like tv much, and would like a friendly household of people who are psyched about what they are doing. Because I finish up in the winter there is a chance I might try to find a subletter, at least for the summer (lease would be one year), but I would do all possible to involve roommates in the process so this is someone fun!
