A Refinery Clears the Air to Grow Roses
An impressive article from today’s NYT. Here a refinery uses its CO2 to grow roses in Holland. So maybe Houston can become a flower-growing capital.

Hey all - the power supply for the forestryclub.org server bit the dust recently, but thanks to Bill Moroz and Paul Draghi, it’s back up and running!
$75 to drive a car from New Haven to New York on Monday June 26 (STICK SHIFT)! I am currently traveling in Tibet with my boyfriend Dan, and we are trying to find someone to drive his car to New York this Monday. $75 if you are willing to drive in to JFK (and Dan can drop you back off at Grand Central), and $50 if you drive the car to near Grand Central. Our flight arrives at 10:30 am, so you would need to be in New York by noonish. Also, Dan will be driving from New York to Washington DC that same day, so if you need a ride to DC (or anywhere along the way) he is happy to take you.
Greetings! As our summer gets underway, so has our annual summer seminar series!

This message is especially targeting fellow newcomers to CT- just as we’re arriving to New Haven we’ll already have an opportunity to vote! The Democratic primary will be on Aug. 8, so hurry up and print out a mail-in registration form to join the fun.
I will be moving in about 10 days and would like to sell my bed and dresser. Both are wonderful, but I won’t be able to take them with me. The bed is a flat doulbe bed (IKEA- 2 years old) with a firm matress and and a softer cushion thing. It has an attached nightstand and is made of oak, I believe. I also have a large (and very useful) dresser. This I will give away, but the bed needs to be sold (get in touch with me and we can talk). I don’t own a car, so if you want the stuff, you’ll have to arrange for its retrieval. Anyways, please contact me at perrine_punwani@yahoo.com or (202) 841-9076 if you’re interested.
I lost a silver ring with a green stone. It belonged to my grandmother, so if you have seen it, please let me know. I lost it somewhere in Marsh, Sage, 210 Prospect, or elsewhere in the streets of New Haven.
I’m looking for a Rosetta Stone or other language learning software for Latin American (not Spain) Spanish. If you can loan or sell something, let me know.
