this Monday, the Yale Community will be joining millions around the country to march for the rights of immigrants—documented and undocumented.
The house is located on Bishop Street, very close to Orange and Nica’s. My room is on the second floor, very clean, bright, and airy. You may share a spacious bathroom with other two very friendly FES students. Large living room, dinning room, a lovely sun room in the front, a balcony in the back, free parking and laudary, wireless internet, landline phone. The rent is only $416 for the summer (June and July) and you can continue the lease for the next year if you like.
Don’t forget about the FES Swap Meet next weekend! It’s a great place to bring those things you want to give away. And if another FESer doesn’t want them, then they’ll go to charity! Prepare for the great FES swapaway! (If you’d like to volunteer to help, email either jennifer.adler@yale.edu or amanda.sahl@yale.edu)
Hi there, I have a bunch of items that I’d like to sell and give away…
Insurance companies are canceling policies in flood and hurricane prone areas, blaming “rising sea temperatures.”
Looking for one cool, laidback roommate, (or a couple to a share a bedroom), forestry preferably, to share a three bedroom at 239 Bradley with Erin & Cassie. Beautiful house: huge living room, high ceilings in bedrooms, big kitchen, dining room. Coin-op washer-dryer in basement. Sweet back porch in a beautiful neighborhood - good trees, low traffic, very close to schoool; in between Sage and the Pho restaurant. Near grocers like Hong Kong, Gourmet, and Nica’s. One block from liquor store. Veggie-meat-, queer-, recycling-, tree-, people-friendly. Should enjoy studying, eating, partying. ~$700/month. Inquiries to: erin.barnes@yale.edu.

Hi FES! As I told many of you at the BBQ, this summer I will be spending nine weeks cycling from New Haven to San Francisco to benefit Habitat for Humanity, as a rider on the Habitat Bicycle Challenge. Please support me and Habitat for Humanity with a TAX-DEDUCTIBLE donation!
What: Outdoor screening of Dazed and Confused followed by DJ Yomi
I forgot my jacket in the coat room at the end of the year party. The Forestry Club does not have it so I was wondering if anyone picked it up at the end of the night. It’s a brown North Face jacket with a pink/purplish fleece lining. I you know where it is please let me know….I’m very sad if it’s lost! Thanks! Read more »
Good Morning all you overworked under-appreciated students. The End of the Year Party may be fading into fond memories and headaches, but it is time for the FES Barbecue TGIF. A once in a lifetime event. Most of the rumors are true and more surprises to come. This will be the last public appearance of the year for our own specialist of Southern BBQ on Climate Change, Terry Baker. Reports say that he will be going all out this time.
Check out this spacious beautiful apartment right across the street from Nica’s. Three bedroom apartment for $1200 per month, price negotiable. Wireless internet, parking and washer/dryer.
Since I’m graduating in a few weeks and moving out of state, I will be selling some of my furniture - kitchen table, chairs, dressers, desk chair, etc. There will also be some pots/pans etc so if you’re interested in anything, let me know!
I lost a black, rectangular purse somewhere in sage. It has important items in it, so if you see it please call me at 203-233-5849, and/or email at dhyana.quintanar@yale.edu. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
