Choosing a career in science has enabled me to have many exciting adventures! While in school, I studied tropical ecology in Jamaica. During my time at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, I worked with Dr. Kathleen Ruttenberg on a three week Pacific cruise studying coastal upwelling. I collected data for Dr. David Ho on the effects of gas exchange during rain events at the Biosphere II. And presently, I am Dr. Raymond’s research technician/lab manager studying the impact on the carbon cycle due to global change.

I enjoy spending time outdoors-kayaking, camping, hiking, you name it… but most of all, I enjoy spending time with my family, my husband and our new baby boy!
