All students must apply for financial aid every year to be considered for any financial aid assistance. The deadline to submit all required financial aid application forms is March 1, 4:00pm, for incoming students.
U.S. citizens applying for financial aid must complete our application procedure and submit copies of their SIGNED U.S. Federal tax returns, schedules and W-2/1099s annually.

U.S. and Permanent Resident students applying for financial aid must complete the following forms by March 1, 4:00pm:

The Yale F&ES School code is 001426. Apply as soon as possible, beginning January 1. Previous year’s income information may be needed to complete the FAFSA. FAFSA data must be received by the F&ES Financial Aid office no later than 4:00pm March 1.
  2. School of Forestry and Environmental Studies on-line Financial Aid Application This important form assists the F&ES Financial Aid Office in determining demonstrated need and in matching student applicants with restricted scholarships requiring applicants to meet specific requirements of scholarship sponsors. The form also allows students to provide information regarding future income which may be different from the information entered on the FAFSA.
  1. Signed copies of previous year's Federal tax returns, including 1040's, W-2's or 1099's, and schedules, must be submitted after an applicant has accepted an admissions offer and no later than April 15.
