About

Yong Zhao is a first year doctoral student at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies (FES), advised by Prof. Peter Raymond. His research focuses on carbon transportation and cycling in a tidal salt marsh estuary. He received a biological science bachelor degree in Yuanpei School of Peking University in 2006, advised by Professor Lu Zhi, who is founder and executive director of Conservation International-Shanshui Center of Nature and Society. He received a master of environmental science degree in FES in 2008.
