Paul currently is a PhD student at the Yale University Center for Industrial Ecology under the supervision of Prof. Edgar Hertwich. Paul is interested in hybrid life cycle assessment of the US light-duty vehicle fleet. His work pays special consideration to vehicle and infrastructure stocks as well as the transition towards low-carbon technologies. Before joining Yale, he held a position at the International Council on Clean Transportation, working on carbon emissions and costs of conventional and electric vehicles in a European context. Paul holds a Master's degree from the Berlin Institute of Technology where he conducted research on the carbon footprint of renewable technologies in Australia.
