Economist with a PhD degree in Agricultural Economics from University of Hohenheim (Germany). My research focuses mainly on bioenergy and its impacts on social inclusion, food security and climate change in the Brazilian Amazon Region. I took part on the LBA team (Large-scale biosphere-atmosphere experiment in Amazonia - Brazil/USA/EU) during 2004-2007, working on social carbon, CDM and REDD+ projects in northern Brazil.
