EXPERIENCE     Yale F&ES- Berkeley Scholars, New Haven, CT 09/08 - Present  
Through this ongoing research program, I am one of three team members conducting research on
tax policies and other incentives for forest conservation in the Northeastern United States, with an
emphasis on how the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) will contribute to forest
conservation on private land.  
 
Toledo Institute for Development & Environment (TIDE) - Belize, Belize 05/05 - 07/08

As the Director of Development I was responsible for raising $1.2 million US per year for this award-
winning Belizean NGO.  As a senior member of the Management Team I helped make executive
decisions in regards to planning, recruitment, networking & alliances, community issues, and more.
As part of a constant goal to find new sources of funding I oversaw the development of an
organization-wide business plan, as well as a comprehensive Conservation Action Plan (with TNC)
and an organization-wide Strategic Plan. Throughout my tenure at TIDE I worked very closely with
the TNC Belize office.
 
Rainforest Alliance, NY NY 01/99 - 05/05 http://www.rainforestalliance.org - Membership Manager  
As Membership Manager I raised $500,000+ annually in unrestricted funding, managed a team of
development staff, and wrote solicitations and reports for Membership, Major Gifts program and
Special Events programs.  Prior to being promoted to Membership Manager, I was one of three
grant writers responsible for $20 Million annually.
