Dr. Evan Beach is the Program Manager at the Center for Green Chemistry & Green Engineering at Yale. He joined the Anastas group at Yale in 2007 after receiving his PhD in Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University, where he researched environmentally benign catalytic oxidation systems for water cleaning applications. His current research focuses on polymers, fine chemicals, and other useful materials from renewable feedstocks. He also coordinates the Center’s educational and outreach efforts and develops curriculum materials for on- and off-campus lectures and workshops in green chemistry. Evan serves on the editorial board of the journal Green Chemistry Letters and Reviews.
