Ayman Elshkaki is an Associate Research Scientist at Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. He is Chemical Engineer by training and has a Ph.D. in Industrial Ecology from Leiden University, The Netherlands. His research focuses mainly on the methodological development of the dynamic material flow analysis and its applications in the management of resources, especially critical metals. Prior to Yale, he spent three years at the Centre for Environmental Policy (CEP), Imperial College London, and six years at the Institute of Environmental Sciences (CML), Leiden University.
