About

Prior to arriving at F&ES, Natalie spent two years teaching environmental education with the U.S. Peace Corps in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and one year studying ethnobotany in the Pendjari MAB Reserve in affiliation with the University of Abomey Calavi in the Republic of Benin. As an undergraduate, she studied in Iowa, Alaska, Minnesota, California, Senegal, and Belize. She is originally from Champaign, Illinois.
