BHUTAN:

  • Forest Inventory – development and implementation of a forest inventory system for Bhutan.

  • The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) - Information exchanges and faculty, student, and staff visits between Yale and TERI and TERI University. Dr. Tim Gregoire serves on the Board of Directors of TERI, North America, and on the Academic Council of TERI University (Delhi, India).

  • INDIAN FOREST SERVICE MID-CAREER TRAINING PROGRAM, FOREIGN MODULE - In collaboration with TERI Univeristy, under contract to the Ministry of Environments and Forests, Government of India, the Global Institute is providing the "foreign module" section of a mid-career training program for all employees of the Indian Forest Service.  IFS employees spend two weeks in the U.S. partipating in lectures, hands-on training exercises and field trips.
