SCOPE, Social and Community-Oriented Practice on the Environment, works to bring together students working in multiple social science disciplines and to facilitate greater understanding about the role of the social sciences in the environment. SCOPE has successfully held annual workshops during the spring semester on integrating the social sciences at FES and introducing students to the multiple perspectives of the diverse social and natural sciences. Our activities for this year include a training on interdisciplinary and participatory field research methods.
