F&ES 006: Forms & Guidelines
Summer Internships/Research Projects for Master's Candidates
All Yale F&ES Master's candidates are required to conduct research or to have an internship experience to fulfill their degree requirements, typically between the summer of their first and second year of the program. This experience will appear on each student's transcript as an F&ES course.
Two important deadlines:
1) STUDENT INTERNSHIP/RESEARCH PROJECT DESCRIPTION - DEADLINE TO COMPLETE is 6/1/09: By June 1, 2009 complete the on-line student internship/research project description form to register for the F&ES summer course. Include the contact information of your internship supervisor OR research advisor on the Internship/Research Project Description form (**Email address is mandatory).

The Career Development Office will email all supervisors/advisors an evaluation form at the end of the summer to obtain feedback.
OMISSION OR LATE SUBMISSIONS OF THIS FORM WILL RESULT IN A $25.00 LATE REGISTRATION FEE.
2) STUDENT EVALUATION FORM - DEADLINE TO COMPLETE IS 9/15/09: By September 15, 2009 complete your online student evaluation form (Will be posted in June). Students will not receive their "SC" for satisfactory completion grade for their F&ES summer course until this student evaluation form has been completed.
THE GRADE FOR THE F&ES SUMMER COURSE WILL BE LEFT AS "INCOMPLETE" ON ALL STUDENT TRANSCRIPTS UNTIL THE STUDENT EVALUATION FORM IS RECEIVED BY THE CAREER DEVELOPMENT OFFICE.
