Winner of the Inaugural "Do You YouTube?" contest, JP Jewell (MEM/MBA, '09), tells us about his summer internship experience in 2008 with Environmental Defense Fund's Corporate Partnerships Program.
All Yale F&ES Master's candidates are required to conduct research or to have an internship experience to fulfill their degree requirements, typically between the summer of their first and second year of the program. This experience will appear on each student's transcript as an F&ES course.
The summer internship or research project is an important opportunity for students to apply knowledge and skills they have gained during their first year of study, to gain professional experience, to build their networks and to investigate potential career paths first-hand.
Yale has a contract with MEDEX to provide 24/7 travel assistance coverage anytime Yale students, faculty, or staff are traveling. In addition to helping with medical emergencies abroad, they provide other services such as help when you lose your wallet or travel documents.
