This course focuses on understanding how adroit environmental management and strategy can enhance business opportunities, reduce risk, promote cooperation and decrease environmental impact. The course is divided into three broad areas:  environmental management (within firms), environmental strategy (of firms and industries), and cooperative environmental business practices (across firms and with other stakeholders).   The course combines weekly lectures on managment theory, tools, and practice with class discussions of cases, of legal and regulatory frameworks shaping the business-environment interface, and evolving requirements for business success
