The course reviews several valuation studies that form the backbone of modern greenhouse gas damage estimates. Each small group of students chooses a study; downloads the data and methods of that study from the authors or a journal; and then reproduces the published results. The purpose of this exercise is to replicate results, understand all the assumptions, and measure how sensitive the results are to these assumptions. The course meets every other week for the entire year to give students time to go through their studies and present their results to the class.

Students must register for course in both semesters. Course will be 1.5 credits in each semester.
