Thomas Easley

Assistant Dean of Community and Inclusion, Chair of EQUID
Thomas Easley, Ed.D., an educator who has tackled diversity challenges in the academic classroom and on the stage, was appointed Assistant Dean of Community and Inclusion at F&ES in 2018. Thomas guides initiatives to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion across the school. That includes working to build a more diverse community of students, faculty, and staff through active recruitment and working with faculty on courses to expand materials for an increasingly diverse student body.

Yolanda QuiƱones

Yolanda QuiƱones

Assistant Director of Strategic Initiatives and Community and Inclusion
Yolanda Quiñones came to F&ES from Yale Medical School where she was the coordinator for the BioMed SURF Program, which offers first-generation college graduates — disadvantaged and underrepresented minorities from all over the country — an opportunity to participate in an intensive 9-week research program. Yolanda received her Bachelor’s of Science in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City and her M.B.A. with a concentration in leadership from Albertus Magnus College.

Joanne DeBernardo

Assistant Dean, Student Services
As the face of Student Services, Joanne is the person to talk to for any student life questions/advice of any sort.  Joanne works closely with Kim Geoff-Crews, Secretary and Vice President for Student Life at Yale on issues relating to student life.  Joanne serves as a member of the F&ES Leadership Team and as a member of the University Wide Committee on Sexual Misconduct (UWC).
