Breaking: Delegates from youth coalitions, Greenpeace, 350.org stage peaceful protest/sit in
While negotiations continue in the rooms of the conference hall on the last afternoon of COP 17, delegates from numerous youth orgs, Greenpeace, 350.org and SustainUS stage protest in the main hallway of the ICC. UN police and convention center staff form a ring around the area while protesters sing, chant and hold signs supporting those countries most vulnerable to climate impacts like SIDS (small island developing states).
I support your valiant efforts however I can tell you that it will be for naught unless you can sustain critical mass. Unfortunately in the age of apathy that is more or less impossible. Maybe you can find a way to monetize your approach and make it more palatable to the masses AND business/government
