Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies has partnered with Interfolio, an online credentials management services. This service is available to current students and alumni/ae for a small fee. Using Interfolio is an easy and affordable way for students to send application materials to graduate and professional schools or for job candidates to send academic credentials to a search committee. Additionally, Interfolio can also help ease the burden of those faculty entrusted with composing letters of recommendation. Faculty and other letter writers may establish a free writer's account at Interfolio, which enables direct uploading of documents.

Once registered for Interfolio, participants will be able to upload documents such as resumes, cover letters, writing samples, and and copies of certificates. Additionally, participants can request that letters of reference and transcripts be sent directly and confidentially to the service. Participants can then order dossiers to be sent to potential employers and some graduate school programs. The dossiers may be ordered electronically and and can be sent to employers and educational institutions (but not to private citizens).

The entire system is both secure and convenient.
