All students must apply for financial aid every year to be considered for any financial aid assistance.

Returning U.S. and Permanent Resident students applying for financial aid must fill out two forms by March 15:

1. Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) FAFSA provides the government with information on your financial resources. FAFSA forms are available in public libraries and here. The Yale F&ES School code is 001426. Apply as soon as possible, beginning January 1. You may need the previous year’s income information to complete the FAFSA.
   
2. School of Forestry and Environmental Studies Returning Financial Aid Application This important form is for all returning students.

Returning International students applying for financial aid must fill out two forms by March 15:
